Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We process gameplay and progress data such as scores, streaks, accuracy, completed levels, challenge results, achievements, settings, and in-game currency. Leaderboard entries may display your chosen or Google display name, score, and profile image publicly. If you contact support, we process the email address and information you send us.

If you choose Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication provides us with an account identifier and may provide your display name, email address, and profile photo. We use this information for sign-in, cloud sync, account recovery, and player-facing features; we do not receive your Google password.

2. Anonymous Authentication

Playing may create a pseudonymous Firebase account identifier so cloud features can work without requiring your name or email address. You may optionally link Google Sign-In for cross-device access. Firebase may process technical information such as IP address, device/browser information, and authentication events to provide and secure these services.

3. Advertising

Google AdSense may display ads on our marketing and original content pages — including guides, FAQs, campaign articles, Reflex Lab, the reaction time test, player statistics, the developer journal, and similar editorial pages — only after you make a privacy choice. The active browser gameplay page (/play) does not load AdSense or place display ads beside rapid-tap controls. Our mobile apps may use Google AdMob for optional rewarded ads and interstitials shown only at natural breaks between rounds. Legal pages (privacy, terms, disclaimer) and the contact page do not load AdSense.

Google and its advertising partners may process IP address, browser or device information, advertising identifiers, cookie data, and ad interactions. If you allow personalized advertising, those signals may be used to select ads based on your activity or interests. If you choose “Non-personalized ads only,” we send denied consent signals for ad personalization and analytics; contextual or limited ads may still be shown. You can reopen “Privacy choices” on the website or use Settings in the game to change your selection. See How Google uses information for advertising and My Ad Center.

4. Data Storage

Progress, settings, attribution data, and privacy choices may be stored in local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, or the service-worker cache on your device. Account, leaderboard, challenge, and cloud-progress data may be stored in Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. Google acts as a service provider for hosting, authentication, database, analytics, and advertising services.

We do not sell personal information for money. Personalized advertising may be treated as “sharing” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws; you can opt out by choosing non-personalized ads. We retain cloud data while your account is active or as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and comply with legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it where appropriate.

5. Analytics

With your “Allow personalized ads & analytics” choice, we use Google Analytics for Firebase / Google Analytics 4 to measure page views, game starts, game events, device and browser characteristics, approximate location derived from IP address, referrals, campaign attribution, and interactions with site links. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or message contents to Analytics. Analytics collection remains disabled when no choice has been made or when you choose non-personalized ads only.

6. Children's Privacy

Focus Drop is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher minimum age required where they live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child below the applicable age. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal data should contact us so we can investigate and delete it.

7. Your Rights

You can clear local stars, scores, and unlocked levels from Settings > Reset Progress. That reset does not erase privacy choices, currency, or every cloud record. Change advertising/analytics consent through “Privacy choices” on the website or Settings in the game. To request access, correction, export, or deletion of cloud/account data, email support@wiserunts.com with the subject “Focus Drop data request.” We may ask for information needed to verify that you control the relevant account. Deleting local browser data does not by itself delete cloud records.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, opt out of targeted advertising, or complain to a data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

8. Cookies, Local Storage & Similar Technologies

Focus Drop and playfocusdrop.com use browser storage and similar technologies:

• Necessary storage — saves progress, settings, privacy choices, security/authentication state, and optional cloud-link state on your device.
• Service worker / cache — improve load performance and offline shell behavior for the Progressive Web App experience.
• Advertising storage or identifiers — Google AdSense on eligible content pages and AdMob in mobile apps may use cookies or device identifiers according to your privacy choice.
• Analytics storage — Google Analytics storage and event collection are enabled only after you allow personalized ads and analytics.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Focus Drop after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
