How to Play
Master the art of the perfect tap
Focus Drop is a precision-timing reflex game. Water drops fall from the top of the screen, and you tap them before they reach the bottom. Closer to the center of each drop means higher scores. Miss too many and you lose — but build streaks and you'll rack up massive points.
The Basics
- Tap falling drops before they hit the bottom of the screen.
- Aim for the center — the closer your tap is to the drop's center, the higher your score.
- You have 3 lives. Miss a drop and you lose one life. Lose all three and the round ends.
- Stay focused. Drops can appear in quick succession — prioritize one at a time rather than panicking.
Scoring System
Every tap is rated based on your accuracy:

Streak Multipliers
Hit drops consecutively without missing to build a streak. Streaks multiply your score up to 2.5×. Milestone bonuses are awarded at streak counts of 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 — so keeping your streak alive is the key to high scores.
Catch Height Bonus
Where you catch a drop on screen also matters. Tapping drops higher on the screen earns bonus multipliers — up to 1.8× at the top of the screen, down to 0.6× near the bottom. Early catches reward anticipation; late catches are risky but sometimes necessary.
Special Drops
Not every falling object is a friendly water drop. Learn to recognize these special types:

| 💣 Bomb | Red, explosive | Don't tap! Let bombs fall safely past the bottom. Tapping a bomb costs you a life. |
| 👻 Phantom | Fades in and out | Only tap when fully visible. Timing is everything with phantoms. |
| ⚡ Speed Drop | Normal look, fast | Accelerates mid-fall. Stay alert and react quickly. |
| 🔍 Tiny Drop | Smaller than normal | Harder to hit precisely. Requires extra focus for Perfect ratings. |
Game Modes
Campaign Mode
Progress through 30 levels across 3 chapters with escalating difficulty and unique objectives:

- Tap All — Catch every drop in the level.
- Survive Time — Stay alive for a set number of seconds.
- Reach Score — Hit a target point total within the drop budget.
- Perfect Streak — Achieve a consecutive Perfect streak of a given length.
- Dodge Bombs — Let a set number of bombs pass without tapping any.
- No Miss — Complete the level with zero misses.
Endless Mode
Survive as long as you can. Waves get progressively harder over time with increasing drop speed, more concurrent drops, and special drop types mixed in. Chase your personal high score and compete on the global leaderboard.
Daily Challenge
Each day brings a fresh challenge with unique objectives and bonus rewards. Complete the daily challenge to earn extra currency and maintain your daily streak.
Campaign Star Ratings
Every campaign level awards up to 3 stars:

Replay levels to improve your accuracy and collect all three stars. Three-starring every level in a chapter is the ultimate test of mastery.
Pro Tips
- Aim for drop centers — Perfect ratings give the biggest point returns and fuel your streak.
- Focus on one drop at a time. Don't panic when multiple drops are on screen — prioritize the lowest one first.
- Never tap red bombs — let them fall safely. A bomb tap costs a life and breaks your streak.
- Keep streaks alive for massive multipliers. A long streak with Perfect taps can skyrocket your score.
- Stay calm during chaos — later levels throw multiple drop types at once. Breathe, focus, and react.
- Catch high when possible — the catch height bonus rewards early, confident taps.
- Replay for stars — once you know a level's pattern, go back and aim for 90%+ accuracy.
