Release Notes
Product and documentation updates for Focus Drop
This page records meaningful changes to Focus Drop and to the public documentation on playfocusdrop.com. We keep it so players, reviewers, and search crawlers can see that the site is actively maintained as a publisher property — not a static one-page shell.

July 2026 — Guides library & trust pages
We expanded playfocusdrop.com from a game-first landing experience into a content hub with crawlable HTML articles that explain real Focus Drop systems:
- Published the Guides hub with deep articles on scoring, special drops, chapter walkthroughs, Endless mode, Daily Challenge, star hunting, beginner mistakes, reflex practice tips, and troubleshooting.
- Documented all 30 campaign levels across Calm Seas, Storm Season, and The Abyss, including objective types such as tap-all, survive-time, reach-score, perfect-streak, dodge-bombs, and no-miss.
- Clarified scoring publicly: Perfect +50, Excellent +35, Good +20, Okay +10; streak multipliers up to 2.5×; catch-height bonuses from about 1.8× at the top of the screen to 0.6× near the bottom; stars at completion / 70% accuracy / 90% accuracy.
- Strengthened publisher trust pages: expanded About, Contact, Privacy Policy (including cookies/local storage), Terms, and Disclaimer.
- Split play into /play while keeping the homepage as an editorial/marketing landing page with links into guides.
- Aligned web AdSense publisher ID and ads.txt to
pub-6539316724550758. - Added sitemap entries for every public guide URL and 301 redirects from older documentation paths.
If you are a returning player: gameplay fundamentals are unchanged. This release is primarily about making those fundamentals readable as normal web pages.
How the site is structured now
Visitors can approach Focus Drop in two ways:
- Learn first — read guides, campaign overview, FAQ, and about/contact pages. No JavaScript canvas is required to understand scoring or special drops.
- Play first — open /play for the Phaser game client, then return to guides when you want strategy depth.
That split is intentional. A canvas game alone is hard for crawlers and reviewers to evaluate. Written documentation gives the site a durable content layer while keeping the game free to play in the browser.
What we document vs what ships in-game
In-game overlays (How to Play, Privacy, Terms) remain available inside the client for convenience. The canonical public versions live on HTML URLs so they can be linked, indexed, and audited. When web Privacy or Terms links are opened from the game on desktop/mobile web, they point to these pages.
Campaign names and objective values described in guides match the shipped level configuration (for example Golden Rush reach-score 2500, Endurance survive 45 seconds, Bomb Patience dodge 8 bombs, Ash Fall perfect streak of 6, Inferno survive 60 seconds). If a future balance patch changes numbers, we will update both the game and this documentation log.
How we will update this log
Future entries will cover:
- New guides or major rewrites
- Campaign balance or objective changes that affect strategy articles
- Support-facing troubleshooting updates
- Policy or consent wording changes that players should notice
